WASHINGTON, DC – DC Fire and EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident with possible injuries on I-295 Friday afternoon.
According to DC Fire and EMS, the crash took place on I-295 northbound near Blue Plains Drive around 4:00 PM on April 8th.
Both vehicles reportedly exited the roadway. One vehicle overturned as a result of the crash.
The driver of the overturned vehicle was able to escape entrapment.
The number and severity of injuries suffered is unclear at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
