News: Vehicle drives into building, injures five

PERRY HALL, MD – Five people have been taken to hospitals after a car sped through the front of a salon earlier today, WBAL TV 11 reports.

The car was traveling down Joppa Road at about 2 p.m. when for unknown reasons it drove straight through a salon. A witness claims she saw the vehicle attempting to park when it suddenly sped into the storefront.

Emergency personnel were called to the crash at Roula’s Salon and Spa, in the 4100 block of the road. They took three patients to Shock Trauma and two others to local medical centers. The Baltimore County Fire Department reported that one person is in critical condition.

Details about the cause of the crash are unknown at this time as local authorities investigate.
