PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA – A pedestrian’s life was claimed after she was hit by a car in Manassas Monday.
The collision occurred at Hoadly Road and Ridgefield Village Drive, according to ABC 7 News. An 82-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was hit.
The pedestrian was identified as Alice Fouchea.
Focuchea was wearing dark clothing at the time of the collision, which means that the driver may have not seen her, which caused him to hit her. Nonetheless, speed and physical impairment were not contributing factors in the crash.
Fouchea died from her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 66-year-old man, remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
