News: Woman dead after getting hit by car in Falls Church

FALLS CHURCH, VA – A pedestrian died after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver in Falls Church Sunday. 

The collision occurred at the 4200 block of Annandale Road before 8 pm, according to a press release from Fairfax County Police. 

The pedestrian was crossing the street when a white SUV or sedan hit her.  The driver was not speeding at a high rate. However, they declined to render aid and immediately fled the scene. 

The pedestrian was transported to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries and died. 

Police have not released the pedestrian’s name or located the driver responsible for the crash. Anyone with more information may contact the phone number listed in the source.
