SILVER SPRING, MD – One woman died following a two-vehicle collision in Silver Spring Monday morning.

According to the Daily Voice, the fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Baltimore Road and Norbeck Road around 10:00 AM on July 25th.

The victim reportedly attempted to turn left onto Baltimore Road and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

The driver, identified as 91-year-old Henrietta Gomez, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. She unfortunately succumbed to her injuries on July 28th.

Montgomery County Police continue to investigate the fatal crash.
