News: Woman seriously hurt after getting hit by car in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA – A woman was critically injured after getting hit by a car walking in the 8389 block of Leesburg Park in Vienna Wednesday. 

Fairfax County Police were called to the scene before 2:45 pm, a tweet from them indicated. 

Officers on scene of a pedestrian crash in the parking lot of 8389 Leesburg Pk. The victim, an adult female, was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The woman’s current condition is unknown. 

In addition, it is unclear what caused the driver to hit the woman in the parking lot.
