GLEN BURNIE, MD – A woman died after she was struck by an impaired driver while changing a flat tire on MD-10 Thursday afternoon.

According to WJZ, the fatal collision took place on MD-10 between I-695 and Ordinance Road around 1:00 PM on May 12th.

A Ford Crown Victoria reportedly crossed multiple lanes before crashing into the woman and her stopped vehicle on the shoulder.

The woman unfortunately died at the scene. She has been identified as Tramellia Wright of Glen Burnie.

The driver of the Crown Victoria, 42-year-old Kevin Pickett, has been charged with driving under the influence and homicide by motor vehicle.
