RESTON, VA – A woman died last week from injuries she sustained after being struck by a car, according to FFX Now.

A 2003 Toyota Prius was driving eastbound on Baron Cameron Avenue when it struck a woman who was crossing the roadway. The wreck took place before its intersection with North Village Road, at about 10:45 a.m. February 3rd.

Emergency responders took the pedestrian to a nearby medical center for treatment. She was pronounced dead at the hospital on February 16th.

Fairfax County police reported that the vehicle’s driver stopped and waited for authorities to arrive. The Crash Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating.
