CALVERT COUNTY, MD – One woman was hospitalized, and another was left dead after a car crashed into a light pole in Dunkirk Saturday.
The collision occurred on Route 4 near Ward Road, Southern Maryland News reported. The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office said the driver was speeding and under the influence of alcohol. As a result, the driver – 38-year-old Kerri Ann Balser – lost control of her Toyota Camry and crashed into a light pole.
Christina Marie Hall, who is also 38, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
