TEMPLE HILLS, MD – A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash Monday morning.

According to WUSA, the fatal accident took place at the intersection of Branch Avenue and I-495 around 1:45 AM on March 21st. 

The pedestrian was reportedly crossing Branch Avenue when they were struck by a northbound vehicle. The vehicle subsequently fled the scene. Police believe the involved vehicle to be a 2001-2005 Honda Civic. 

Maryland State Police are currently investigating the crash. The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Felnibe Patefagou.
